House Surveys – Fees

The fee charged is normally based on the purchase price of the property at the time of inspection, on the following scale:

Not exceeding £200,000	£420
Not exceeding £250,000	£490

Not exceeding £400,000	£660
Not exceeding £500,000	£800
Exceeding £500,000	By arrangement

Where the purchase price is preferential or where the price is not known at the time of the inspection, the fee charged will be based on the valuation figure.

The above fees are fully-inclusive and contain an allowance for normal travelling expenses. Additional charges to cover high travelling costs will be payable in the following circumstances:

• A standard fee of £20 when the property is situated in a London postal district, that is, postcodes beginning N, NW, NE, E, W, WC, EC, SW and SE.
• When the property is an excessive distance from our office.
